Sto. Entiero was curved in 1516 and brought to the Philippines from Mexico. According to the legend, the icon was totally burned, which would explain its color. The care-taker said that one should ask permission from Sto. Entiero to take its picture, otherwise one would not get a clear picture of its face. It is also believed that this icon can perform a miracle, which is the reason why a lot of people are devotees of this.
