The Hands That Work

The Philippines is abundant in natural resources. Being a developing country, it has resorted to the utilization of such in the production of goods and in the provision of services. Given the fact the country is labor abundant ranking in the Top 20 in the world’s most populated countries; it is organic to resort to the manufacture of labor-intensive goods. A large proportion of the companies producing furniture, houseware & holiday decor products are micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. The industry relies heavily on manual means of production. However, worker productivity still needs improvement. There is also a lack of proper tools and equipment which can improve the flow of production processes.
