View artist portfolioMy travels have been my main artistic teacher. On my road trip to Mexico I met a driftwood artist who taught me the ways of his craft. As soon as I returned to the west coast of British Columbia I started sculpting my West Coast Driftures. Made from driftwood, paper mache' and acrylic paints.

very interesting! its almost like it has 3 different segments.
Actually he is made from three two pieces of driftwood, the whole body is one piece and the head and arms are another. I used paper mache to hide the joint.
