This is the Dine/Navajo goddess, that represents the respect for all life on earth, the changing seasons, and in the earth, of the earth. When the traditional Navajo people give thanks and initiating a girl into the puberty rite, she is blessed. Changing Woman gives Dine women self confidence and a place in the society. Because of the power of the goddess the Navajo people live in a matriarchal society.
