Sometimes Life is a Struggle

Around the globe are young people who never see the world any clearer than this. Visually disabled by low vision, partial blindness, or simply without a means to aquire vision correcting lenses. Without much gladness, I am gradually joining this 'global communtiy'. With much hope, I am watching young people taking their awarness and their action global. Thank you for your powerful representation of 'hard, frustrating, and a struggle'.

I greatly appriciate your graphic representation of "struggle." To many peoples misconceptions, life is very much this way, what i mean is like a scrabble board, your given a situation (the letters chosen from the pile), and then asked to comply with the stipulations ( already created words on the board, and where thier letters will intersect with wht you wish to create with the tiles you have chosen.) To clear this up a bit... its like we grow up with the stipulations that are placed on us, in our homes by our parents and thier ways of raising us, in our schools where the teachers, and a school board determine what and how we are allowed to learn certain things, and then when you get through all that and you feel like you have accomplished so much... you begin to think for yourself. You begin to experience what life really is in comparison to what you have been taught. Thus, all those words you learned in vocabulary books, and SAT prep courses, do nothing for you... because quite frankly you can't think of good words to fit into the 8 tiles that are between the "R" in the word rip, and the "N" in the word no, on the scrabble board of life.... I hope that makes sense... i didn't want to drag on for ever but if any one cares to hear further please drop me a line... - chad
