The MDG Traffic Game Board

The MDG Traffic Game Board

Traffic is the simplest form of discipline in any country. In the illustration, the players (red, blue, yellow) are we Filipinos. In all ways we travel, we have lots of opportunity to help our country even in our simplest ways, by using our potentials and talents. We can express our ideas of culture preservation through arts and entertainment. We can encourage the youth to be involved in volunteerism to help in the conservation of the environment, to take care of the younger people, and to help build a better nation. In this information Age, IT and Media plays a vital role in reaping what we sow. We need to utilize these resources to bridge the social, economic and digital divide. Collectively, all these would lead in creating positive social change in the society, thus enabling us to make a difference, and making a stand in the global community. The clocks along the roads symbolize the value of time each and everyone need to realize. We need not to work tomorrow or later when we want to. We need to work now. The hands on the side of the frame symbolizes that all these things lies in everybody’s hands. We need to surround theses efforts with as many hands so we can accomplish our goal. The heart at the top of the frame says that it is important to put our heart in whatever we do for a genuine result. The church and the mosque symbolizes that we need to start our travel with the guidance of our God Almighty. The cross within the illustration says that we need God in any way we go on this life’s travel.

This is very good. I love the hearts at the top and the symbolism.
