War Kid

yeah!!!
i scream all the time ....
stop war!
stop making nuclear weopens!
stop making any weopens!!
my friends have died for nothing in pointless and stupid war!
i hate war!!!
but nobody seems to hear!!!
they keep on amassing weopens!!!
everybody is scared of each other !
nobody trusts anyone!
But i am not tired of screaming
and i will not rest till they are stop war!

true... the truth hurts, doesn't it...?..

What actions are you taking to stop war! or create PEACE?

began signature campaigns , wrote to the prez , and others in power, and helped in organising marches against the war during the Kargil war!
but could not take part actively at the forefront of things because of my father's profession( army officer) .
but now i think that to make any real change in the system i need to be within the system first , hence doing everything to get into the system. once i have the power to take decisions i can make my point be heard and and taken account of...
also tried to get a proposal on disarmament passed at the first SAARCYOUTH convention...but not many people supported it ...most wanted to stick to nuclear deterrence! they said they felt 'safer' with that...what an irony...the word " safe" in the same sentence with WMDs...how safe can people feel with nukes in any corner of this world?

but there is still time to change things ....just waiting to get into the right gear....

yes cessation of war is not peace ....actual peace comes with a change of heart ! and that comes with interacting with the other side ....have made a lot of friends across the border in pakistan..and they are also working in the media and helping to get our views across to the people of pakistan...
