View artist portfolioThis oven was located in one of the many castles I have visited during my 1st 6 month stay in Ghana. As most of you know, Ghana ans most west-african countries suffered centuries of slave industries. This oven was to heat up iron rods which were used to *stamp* slaves. Each slave that went through this castle had to go to this room to get their *master's* stamp. Completly uncomprehensible and awful but a part of history we just can't deny...
