The suburban Bombay skyline is ever so visible when from the top of the mountain. Humans are slowly moving closer and closer into the park.

I think this is the only such forest in the world in the heart of a metropolitan city. It was told on a TV show that this is one of the world's hottest biological hotspots. The entire are of UK has only some 100 to 150 species of butterflies, but this small park has more than 1800 species of butterflies. Its leopards also visit the city too often. Borivali park is truly one of the wonders of the world.
I wasn't lucky enough to see leopards but I did see baboons, deer and many different birds.
To see so much country streching out before me and then a city in the background is such an interesting contrast.
