On the way to the attic...

The sculpture is a wax model used to make a bronze cast.

It presents a historical character walking up to the dark attic.

The candle is lighting up the darkness of the attic ,showing the person a "big unknown" which terrifes him.

There are two reasons why I decided to this motive in my sculpture: The first one is that it gave my opportunity to create a sculpture of a very strong and diversed form.The second reason is that I always try to join the artistic expression of the work with it's usability...the sculpture is also a candlestick... (the sculpture is about 20 cm high )
