Digital You

This is how I understand an unknown person whom I meet online. Basically speaking I cannot even see a face of the person, and even cannot truly recognize if here is a man or a woman. I know nothing about the person’s age or destination. Similarly I know nothing about what lies behind the person, and where the person is moving to. All I can percept is only "a hand" with which the person is operating, an immediate person's effort. I cannot see the real person; all I can see is only a digital self-presentation, "digital you".
