The Viharas were the dwelling places of the Buddhist monks in Ellora. The monks lived in the viharas from the 6th to 14th century (AD).

This is wonderful and so inspirational! The sacred spirit is still there in this beautiful architecture.
This reminds me of some of the Aztec and Mayan structures I have seen.
