View artist portfolioAl-Jahezh was a famous figure of Arabic literature in Abbasid Baghdad; he was also an "encyclopedic" scientist. I made this cartoon for the "caravan" newspaper in 2004, and it was published with an article about Al-Jahezh by Zeinab Hermes.
