View artist portfolioOne day, we will do so much good, we will destroy ourselves. At one point there will be so many of us that earth won't be able to hold us anymore. What are we going to do? kill each other? Move to the moon?

Wrong here, Eva. Lives will never be perfect and there will always be problems to be solved, just like this.
I think there are a plenty of problems, which exist now and to which we do not pay attention yet (we simply do not see them) because we are worried about other "more important" problems. Once the latter is solved we will start taking new challenges, maybe they will be more global & more "intellectual"? A starving person will not think of ethics & morals or language problems, right?
I also believe that content people are inclined to create problems for themselves otherwise they are bored. Just read Michener's Boar Tooth story!
We will never reach perfection, it will be too hard to find a way of thinking for all people on planet, everyone of us is unique...having lots of different ideas and ways to live...we will always have contradictions in this world and always face problems. Our problems will grow bigger now, coz there are countries too developed and others trying to do same...on expense of people...New youth of today want change, some do not want to change..we will have to live with all people and we will face them...
It\'s enough to think some of us would want to live better, coz this will create a new bond among people and make them closer. It will just make us easier to accept each other. Nevertheless we\'ll always face people different than us, but we know we have some similar too whom we can bond to through our work.
We are talking about artificially making the world better. After all, when we cheat nature, it returns to us. We cheated death and we reproduce like bacteria (I'm kidding), and our population today growth so fast the earth doesn't have space to hold us. We destroy the rain forest that give us our lives in order to make ourselves space and warmth and place to live in. Untill when will we cheat nature? Untill it will come back on us and destroy us?
ok ok, you want to hear the real story behind this picture? The silhoutte looks like a woman in a jaunty pose. The original title is "Ma'am" and the idea is humerous.
But I still think it fits into my idea.
I have a general question: As world saviors, what have you, personally, done? My friend is a passionate world savior but it doesn't seem like he really did something.
Thank you for your thoughtful replies!
Happy new year!
Eva! thats good piece of art!, the depth, the mystry in the silhoutte, and the fading background yeah, its ok, but a future without challenges, a future with less primitive oriented problems like starvation, lack of other basic neeeds, education etc..and may be life with modernisation problems, problems asssociated with urbanisation modernisation etc...perfect life? no, but better quality life!

\"True perfection has to be imperfect, i know that this sounds foolish, but it\'s true.\" Oasis
