That's nice, but I just wanted to inform u that women are not suppressed by covering themselves. Covering is a symbol of modesty and purity in Islam. Islam regards women as a precious jewel and highly respects her rights."It is not oppression(to cover) but rather a shield against the danger of getting dirty looks from perverted guys, verbal and sexual harassment, provocative fashions and, most of all, being viewed as a piece of meat".
Women should be jugded from their intelligence and not their looks. Moreover,women cover themselves to not only to fullfil religious obligation but also because they want to...

Thanks for your comment! I know that some women want to cover themselves but I do think that this is not always the case. What would happen if a woman doesn't want to be covered? Is she then allowed to wear other clothes? In most cases she is not and this in my eyes is supression.

I believe that all muslim women want to cover themselves somehow, but they all have different ways to cover according to their beliefs. For example, some cover themselves with burka, some only wear headscarf, and some don't even cover their heads etc...It's their choice and it doesn't matter as long as they are being modest. Moreover, Islam is not a strict religion, but it gives women the right to vote, the right to own property, the right to contribute to society meaningfully, long before men gave these rights to them through man-made systems. It's an honor for muslim women that Islam has given her equal rights as men.I do belive that countries such as Iran ,Saudia Arabia and Afghanistan force the women to cover themselves (and some of them might not want to), and I agree that it is not the best way to force someone.Muslim women should have choice but a definition of muslim is someone who follows the teachings of Islam (which include Koran and Prophet Mohammad) . As it says in the Koran (the holy book of muslims),"And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons..." (An-Nur 24:31).But on the other hand, Islam is an open religion and it encourages others to discover and chose to believe in what he/she think is best. So, it's the who people interpret things differently. For example, Muslim women wear burka because they think it's right and some don't because thy think that it's not right. Finally, I agree that different people have different beliefs and everyone should be allowed to do whatever they think is right for them...I hope u understood my point. Thankyou...
