Wat Yai Chai-mongkol

The Wat Yai Chai-mongkol is one of Ayuthya's most imposing monuments. This 14th century monument, is Southeast of Ayuthya and can be seen from miles away. It was built by King U-thong for monks of the Pa Kaoe Sect, who returned from Sri Lanka after meditation training.
