Being Me

Being me is about the duality of womanhood, and the pressures to conform in American culture. Ageism and Sexism are harmfull to every woman. Being told through media that only young women are beautifull implying that wrinkles are shamefull. In Being Me I wanted to turn it over, spill it out, cut it up, and stare the probolem in the face. We are and as we grow we change we can not stay static. Youth is one stage we pass through on the way to others it is not the destination.

hmm... well shot, well written. Appreciate the struggle. . . its well deep in your society. Its catching up real fast in mine as well. Sad but true. Americanization of the east. Hmm...

I think it has nothing to do with americanization.. its in built in everyone.. this whole "you are growing old thing" and the pressure is just too much, as if no one else is growing old and will get wrinkled etc. Its not only the media that puts pressure... its everything around us.
