This picture shows the incredible effect of sunrise on one of Sri Lanka's most revered mountains. Every morning, the first rays of the sun create an incredible shadow of the Adam's Peak on the adjoining valley. This shadow effect lasts for a half an hour and fades as the day gets brighter.
