In "Chayla's Story" the filmmaker chose to use a cue-card style made famous by artist before her, namely Allen Ginsberg, Bob Dylan & INXS. In this piece she tells her life story, the struggle and pain of living with ulcerative colitis. She weaves in pieces of her prior animation as punctuation and imagery.
