Your Voice is Power Impact Report

Your Voice is Power is a national program that blends coding, music, and social justice to engage students, particularly Indigenous youth and allies, in creative self-expression and digital skill-building. Since 2021, over 25,000 students across 467 schools have participated, with nearly a quarter learning to code for the first time. By remixing songs with meaningful lyrics and role model stories, students gain confidence, connect to Indigenous cultures, and explore careers in technology and music.

Adobe Creativity Grants

This report highlights TakingITGlobal's work supporting over 225 creative youth organizations from 41 countries, who were supported with software donations and monetary grants to build upon their creative programming. These grants supported capacity-building and support for over 49,000 young creatives.

Community Advisors: A Media Collection

report and collection highlights submissions from 20 Community Advisors, recruited across 10 countries to provide input and support around our creativity, youth voice and social impact programs. Advisors created more than 500 media pieces and engaged almost 2,000 youth around the globe.

Adobe Creativity Grants

Adobe Creativity Grants

Program Dates: 2019-2020

From 2017 to 2022, #RisingYouth provided grants of up to $1,500 to more than 7,000 young people (15-30) across Canada to develop and launch community impact projects.

Culture Connect

Culture Connect

Program Dates: 2013

Culture Connect was a four week digital exchange program that connected youth from more than 30 different countries. Each week, participants were provided with 'mini-missions' to encourage intercultural dialogue through photo uploading and discussions based on the following themes: Daily Life, My Roots, Our Vision and Our Quest.

HP Catalyst Academy

Facilitating Intercultural Digital Exchanges

Program Dates: 2013-2014

This course, part of the HP Catalyst program, guided participants through a journey of understanding themselves and the world through image-based digital storytelling using the power of virtual community platforms. TIG was selected as one of 56 organizational partners across 15 countries.
